| I like this deviantart site really much. there isn't really a regulary base for me to post my art. But every few months a new masterpiece gets shape. In the beginning i posted sketches most of the time, because that was my most regular medium on which to draw. I still make lots of those... and they are well spent time... but taking trouble to post them, ..néah. I love experimenting with new or different mediums in a drawing. So that's what i do most of the time (when i have it  ). And university gives me a whole range of oppertunities to try some.Often my drawings lie unfinished in my archive, just because i don't have the spare time for it, or i don't know how to use some colors. And then i have some inspiration and i can be up whole night, while in the end doing one line finished it. Chalk and trains still are my main items in my drawings. I like chalk because it is available in the most bizar, smooth, edged or whatever variations and i really can make an expression in my drawings with it. And trains... well.. beside being some kind of obsessional hobby in every days live.. They're different from the other things i mostly see. And you can make all kind of scenes with them. Romantic, brutal, old school, every day and more. So with trains i almost every time have a new set up to to put them into. And then, ... as i said... one stroke finished it. I'm not soon to be satisfied by one of my own drawings but many times there is one little adjustment to satisfy me in the end. Unconcerned of how many imperfections i still see in the drawing. People may critisize my drawings every way they want. Good or bad. That's what freedom of opinion is ment for. Besides that i like my drawings to be public. Most of them i give away if some says he or she likes it. I like to share the drawings that way, so that everyone can do something with it and they don't just get cropped up somewhere into my closet. That's also the main reason why most of my drawings are allowed to be downloaded. That another someone can get his inspiration from it. |
